July 23, 2010
eTrition 6.0, a web-based, centralized suite for school nutrition programs, has been released.
"We are very excited and proud of this product," said Bradley Blankenship, executive vice president of School Nutrition Solutions for Harris. "Its advanced design and scalability will enable school districts to work the way they need and want, while positioning them for technological advances into the future."
The eTrition 6.0 solution features a robust point of service system, along with complete financial accounting, back office, inventory, and online parent portal modules. Built on the multi-tiered architecture of Microsoft .NET, the new eTrition 6.0 is scalable from one to over a million serving lines and is available either as a self-hosted solution or as a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. Other new features include full disconnected serving, custom reporting, multiple languages, and the ability to set the user interface to meet individual preferences.
Additionally, the design meets the requirements for use by those with disabilities and has earned Section 508 compliance.
"We expect eTrition 6.0 to become the premier school nutrition suite in the K-12 market," said Blankenship.
The software release is available now to new or existing Harris School Solutions customers. For more information on the eTrition 6.0 solution, please contact us at www.harris-schoolsolutions.com/contact.
